TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design — three fields that shape our world. Founded in 1984, TED is a global nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas through short, powerful talks that inspire and inform audiences around the world.
TEDx events are independently organized under a free license granted by TED. They carry TED's mission of sharing ideas worth spreading by empowering local communities to host experiences that ignite conversations, foster innovation and encourage positive change.
The first TEDx event ever held in Zarqa at a standard-level license — a new chapter for the city, bringing world-class ideas, creativity and meaningful conversations to our own community.
